About

Olympia Kalagidis is a 2011 graduate of the MS HI program and has undergraduate degrees are in Biology and Medical Technology from Walsh University in Ohio. Her clinical internship was completed at Metro Health System in Cleveland while working as a lab technician at the Northeastern Red Cross Blood Bank. Most of Kalagidis’s career was spent in the pharmaceutical industry working for two Fortune 500 companies in marketing, sales, national account management and medical education. As director of the medical education department at Merck & Co., Inc., she managed a nationwide educational project on cholesterol and hypertension training programs at seventy-five percent of the medical schools in the U.S. for over 50,000 physicians and health professionals. As a national account executive she negotiated contracts with vendors, health systems, managed care clients and long term care organizations. She was Director of Business Development at the American Medical Association and also worked as an EMR trainer for Allscripts and Davita.
