Any age.
Any developmental disability.
We're here for you.

At the Developmental Disabilities Family Clinic, we work with children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families to get the support and services they need.

We emphasize the value of family, community resources, and a multi-disciplinary approach in everything we do. Working as a team, we believe we can enhance lives through support, education and training.

Our staff has served the underserved groups of the Chicagoland area since 1992, providing family-centered, culturally competent services. We’re committed to furthering knowledge about innovative treatments through clinical and community training and research.

It's great that there are services available for my son no matter what age he is. The transition from early intervention to early childhood therapy was seamless.

Serving Chicago's diverse community

Finding bilingual and bicultural clinicians is tough. We provide services in English and Spanish and have the only distinct interdisciplinary bilingual team of Spanish-speaking professionals serving the developmental disabilities community on the Southside of Chicago.

Individualized support

We know that all of our visitors are unique. We tailor our assessment and services to your individual wants, needs and unique strengths.

Come see us if you’re looking for a partner and guide in:

  • Autism support
  • Transition to adulthood services and future planning (including guardianship)
  • Early intervention for babies and toddlers (services available on site and at home)
  • Emotional and behavioral consultation
  • Dual diagnosis
  • Social skills and relationships
  • Trauma

Don’t see your concerns on our list? We pride ourselves on being able to tackle any issue—or combination of issues—and responding to the needs of the community. We are committed to people and to excellence in our work.
