I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Medicine from Sun Yat-Sen University, China. I was so excited about the BVIS graduate program when I heard about it from my friend. Considering my medical background, the love in art, we all agreed that this program would suit me very well. As a medical student, I know how important visualizations are in science, especially in medicine. I knew I would love to combine science and art together to help people to learn science more easily.
After one semester in the BVIS graduate program, I have learned a lot about this profession. I am interested in modeling and illustration. The work I created in these classes have been my favorite. I look forward to learning more about developing interactive media. I see this program as an opportunity to explore my talents more and to test my limits.
On graduation, I look forward to being a biomedical illustrator. Through creating educational materials, I feel I could contribute to improving people’s understanding in biological and medical sciences. I would love to learn more and to share the amazing world with others through the illustrator’s way.
