Before attending UIC, Norman received a master’s degree in Medicine from Nanjing University, China. He gradually realized his enthusiasm for art went far beyond just a hobby when attending medical school. He believes there is no better occupation for him than being a medical illustrator.
With a medical background, Norman feels great to strengthen the knowledge in anatomy laboratory again. Meanwhile, taking art-related classes is a whole new experience for him. It is exciting to get in touch with cutting-edge technology in the field of biomedical visualization.
After graduation, Norman plans to target the general public with engaging and visually appealing medical content which people could benefit from.
