Ryan Ehredt

Ryan grew up drawing, reading, and imagining in the town of Huntley, Illinois.  He then attended Northern Illinois University and there received a double Bachelors in biomedical engineering and illustration.  Three years into those degrees he learned of UIC’s Biomedical Visualization program and realized it was his future.  He then began a tighter focus on biology, anatomy, and 3D modeling, in preparation for this destiny.

Thus far Ryan is greatly enjoying the anatomy lab and is thrilled on the whole to be a BVIS student.  Looking forward, he plans to work toward proficiency in creating interactive software and 3D modeling animation.  For research he hopes to work on something paleontology related, thereby achieving a lifelong dream.

After graduation Ryan could see himself entering a large variety of fields, but regardless of where life may lead he hopes to work toward the seamless bonding of education and entertainment into one glorious whole.
