About
Lucy D. Perez-Harck, Psy.D. is a Bilingual/Bicultural Hispanic Licensed Clinical Psychologist who works with children, adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities. She does psychological evaluations and works with schools and providers to ensure clients get the support and treatment they need. Dr. Perez-Harck works closely with parents and caretakers in providing education and resources to meet their needs and those of their children. Dr. Perez-Harck provides training and seminars for psychology graduate students from different graduate programs. Among Dr. Perez-Harck's interests are developmental disabilities, family systems, Autism Spectrum Disorders, social and emotional development, anxiety disorders including selective mutism, learning disability and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, individual and group therapy, and developmental psychology.
Service to the Community
Dr. Perez-Harck is an advisor to the SALTO Hispanic Support group for families, siblings and children who have autism. She provides training workshops and seminars related to autism and other disabilities in schools and in the community. Dr. Perez-Harck organizes support groups and retreats for Hispanic parents of children with developmental disabilities, especially autism.
