About
Kaitlin Stober is a research specialist within the Institute on Disability and Human Development. Currently, she is a team member on multiple research and evaluation projects including a systems impact review of the Illinois Council on Developmental Disabilities and an examination of Medicaid managed care. Kaitlin has previously assisted with research projects on legal capacity and supported decision-making for the UN Special Rapporteur on the rights of persons with disabilities. Most recently, she completed her MSc thesis on the experiences of professional artists with intellectual disabilities and their considerations of a disabled identity. Kaitlin’s research interests also include community and social inclusion, as well as human rights and advocacy.
