About

Craig A. Horswill is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) where he teaches courses and oversees research by students. Craig joined the UIC faculty in 2011 after working for 16 years in industry as a scientist and manager with The Gatorade Company (Gatorade Sports Science Institute). Craig also spent eight years conducting research in pediatrics at Columbus Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University (1988-1994), and teaching and conducting research in the Human Performance Lab at Ball State University (1986-88). Craig earned a PhD in exercise physiology from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign in 1986. He received his undergrad degree in natural sciences/chemistry and an MS degree in exercise physiology at the University of Wisconsin Madison.
