About

Hannah Claeys is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP), who received her Bachelor of Science degree at Indiana State University in exercise science with minors in nutrition as well as strength and conditioning. She then continued on to receive her Master of Science degree in clinical exercise physiology at Ball State University. Upon completing her master's degree, Hannah worked as an exercise specialist in the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital. In this role, she oversaw and managed exercise prescription and monitoring of cardiac, pulmonary, bariatric surgery, peripheral artery disease, and oncology patients through In-Patient, Out-Patient Phase II (monitored) and Phase III (non-monitored) programs. Additionally, Hannah delivered enhanced external counter pulsation therapy and preformed exercise stress tests for all clinical populations. She then accepted a position with South Denver Cardiology Associates (SDCA) in their cardiac rehabilitation program. In conjunction with her professional responsibilities, she continues to make an effort to promote and improve the knowledge and health of the community through teaching.
