About
Deborah Davey, BSc PT, MBA-HC, PhD (c) received her Bachelors of Science in Physiotherapy degree at West Middlesex School of Physiotherapy, (Brunel University) Isleworth, Middlesex, England. She came to the U.S in 1996 and has over 25 years of interdisciplinary, leadership and clinical experience in hospital, outpatient, school, and specialty settings. Ms. Davey completed her MBA-HC at St Ambrose University in 2003 and is currently completing her PhD Dissertation in Public Health, Community Health Promotion and Education. Ms. Davey is very involved with the Illinois Physical Therapy Association where she held two terms as North Central Chair, was a member of the Health Promotion Committee and is a District Delegate for North Central. She is actively seeing patients at the Physical Therapy Faculty Practice and teaching in the Post-professional Orthopaedic Residency Program, and within the Entry-level DPT Program. Her research interests include: Youth and adolescent orthopaedic/sports injury and prevention, musculoskeletal and gait dysfunctions, and health disparity outcomes in orthopedic conditions.
