Dr. Tzen’s academic and research training were rehabilitation technology, rehabilitation science and physical therapy. Dr. Tzen’s primary research interests are pressure ulcer prevention in people with disabilities, and mathematical modeling of skin blood flow response. Her clinical training includes physical therapy and assistive technology, and technology training includes bioinstrumentation and biological signal processing. Dr. Tzen had also been devoted to training graduate and undergraduate students on research from variety of programs, including physical therapy, rehabilitation sciences and bioengineering.
